DR DOUGLAS FALKNOR
Pastor
Doug and his wife, Lisa, met during their college days at East Texas Baptist University and married in 1990. They have three adult children: Rachel, Joel (wife: Taylor), and Sarah Jean (husband: Will). After receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) in Fort Worth, Texas, Doug pastored for nine years in Oklahoma. He has pastored First Baptist Church since 2001 and earned his Doctor of Ministry from SWBTS in 2005. In August, 2024, Doug started preaching at the church at Oakland Zion in addition to First Baptist Church Fayetteville.
